Lorvex Privacy Policy
Local-first storage, optional iCloud sync, and explicit boundaries around external AI assistants.

Scope and data stored
This policy covers Lorvex for Apple platforms and lorvex.app. Lorvex stores its planning data in a local SQLite database on your device. This includes tasks, lists, tags, habits, focus plans, reviews, Lorvex-created calendar events, a device-local mirror of calendar records you allow it to access, AI memory, settings, and the AI Activity log.
iCloud and Apple services
iCloud sync is optional. When enabled, Lorvex-owned records sync through the private CloudKit database in your Apple account. With permission, Lorvex reads calendar data through EventKit and schedules local notifications. On macOS, it can also write Lorvex-created events to a dedicated system calendar; calendar-provider events stay read-only. Permitted external calendar records are mirrored only on the device for display and planning and are not copied to Lorvex CloudKit. Apple and calendar providers apply their own policies.
AI assistants and MCP
AI integration is optional. Lorvex does not include a hosted AI model. If you connect an external assistant through MCP, that client can access only the app tools you expose and may send requested content to its own provider. That provider's terms and privacy policy apply. Lorvex records AI-initiated writes in its change log; the log follows your selected sync setting.
Analytics, advertising, and the website
Lorvex does not include behavioral analytics, advertising, tracking SDKs, or sell personal data. lorvex.app is a static website and does not intentionally set tracking cookies or run analytics scripts. Its hosting provider may process ordinary network request data under the provider's policy.
Retention and your controls
You can use app controls to delete records, turn off sync, revoke system permissions, and export data. Turning off sync stops new synchronization but does not by itself delete existing iCloud data. Exports, backups, and data held by an external AI provider must be managed separately.
Children
Lorvex is a general productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect children's personal information through Lorvex-operated services.

Material changes will be published at this URL with a revised update date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
